Pasaman Barat Tourism

West Pasaman Regency is one of regencies in West Sumatera, Indonesia. This area was formed from the division of Pasaman Regency based on Law No.38 of 2003 dated December 18, 2003, with the district capital at Simpang Ampek. The biggest potential of West Pasaman lies in the oil palm plantation sector, oranges, salak, rubber, coffee and cocoa.

Museum Tuanku Imam Bonjol

Looking inside this museum reminds us of the memory of the hard struggle against the Dutch colonialism.

Rimbo Panti

Rimbo Panti Nature Reserve is located 30 km from Pasaman regency in the north towards the border of West Sumatra province with North Sumatra province. This means that if visitors from Bukittinggi, after arriving in Lubuk Sikaping will travel about 30 km longer or 30 minutes drive then you will enter the nature reserve area by first encountering a small gate that reads "Welcome to Rimbo Panti Nature Reserve"

Candi Tanjung Medan

Candi Tanjungmedan is an archaeological site located in Dusun Tanjungmedan, Panti Subdistrict, Pasaman District, West Sumatera. This site has long been known by the local community, but only around the 1990s began the restoration of the temple by the government. People call the Temple of Tanjung Medan as Panda Sangkar Bulan Temple, a figure whose society dimitoskan because kesaktiannya. It is said that the figure is buried not far from the enshrinement complex. The existence of the enshrinement was previously reported by the West Coast Governor of Sumatra (Gouverneur van Sumatra's Westkust) in 1865 to the Director of Bataviaasch Genootschap in Jakarta.
