Tanah Datar regency is one of the districts within West Sumatera Province, Indonesia, with Batusangkar capital. Tanah Datar Regency is the Seven Best Regions in Indonesia from 400 districts. The award was awarded in 2003 by the International Partnership and the British Embassy.
